1. Who is eligible for the scholarship?

You must be attending or planning to attend an institute of higher education in the 2008-2009 school year. An institute of higher education usually means any schooling beyond high school. International students are also welcome to apply.

2. What is the deadline to enter the scholarship?

All scholarship entries are due on or before midnight pacific time, on May 31, 2009.

3. Where do I apply?

You must fill out the online form on this web site. You can also send your essay to the address on the contact page.

4. How will I know if I win?

Winners are notified by phone and email about 4 weeks after the scholarship deadline, and will be posted on our site about 2 weeks later. You should regularly check the status page as this is the first place the scholarship winner will be posted.

5. How much is this scholarship?

We will award one $1,000 scholarship.
